2021-2022 Tuition Rates


Re-enrollment Fee: This fee must be paid to reserve a seat in class for the upcoming school year.

    • Re-Enrollment week is February 22-26, 2021
    • $25 per student if enrolled and paid on February 22, 2021
    • $50 per student if enrolled and paid between February 23-26, 2021
    • $100 per student if paid after February 26, 2021

New Enrollment:
    • Registration Fee is $200
      • Open enrollment begins on March 1st, 2021. No new students will be accepted before this date.
      • This fee will be invoiced to the family upon acceptance, completion of the enrollment forms, and any applicable testing.

      • Registration fee must be paid to guarantee a spot in the classroom for a student.


      • Curriculum cost will be presented per class

      • All curriculum becomes the property of the student/family.
      • Families who would like to look for curriculum on their own, may contact the school office for a list of books needed for their student(s).
      • Curriculum payments made by June 15th, 2021 will be at a discounted price.
      • All Curriculum purchased after June 15th, 2021 will be at full price.


    • Tuition is paid in 10 monthly installments and is due on the 1st of the month, starting August 1st and concluding on May 1st. Tuition is considered late after the 10th of the month.

            • This discount does not apply to enrollment or book fees.
            • This discount does not apply to the K-3 two-day program.
        • Referral Credit - Families may receive a $100 referral credit by referring families to NSBA. Referred families must pay the enrollment fee and the first three months of tuition before the credit will be applied to the referring families' accounts.

Additional Fees:

    • Science Lab Fee: 5th - 12th grades - $50 per student per year
    • Algebra/Geometry Lab Fee (Optional) - Online access for algebra/geometry classes - $100 per school year per student.
      • This online access will allow parents to help students while working on homework at home.
      • It will also allow students to work at their own pace, or ahead, as appropriate.
    • Fundraiser Fee
      • A $300 per student per school year fundraiser fee helps to keep tuition fees low.
      • This fee can be reimbursed by participating in Fundraisers
      • This fee can be covered in multiple ways:
        • A one-time payment due by August 15th will eliminate fundraiser involvement and further fundraising invoices for the school year.
        • A $30 monthly fundraiser fee will be added to your monthly tuition invoice.
        • Income from your student's participation in NSBA fundraisers will be credited to his/her fundraiser fee up to $300 per school year.
    • Kindergarten Graduation Fee - $25 per student
    • Senior Graduation Fee - $50 per student
    • Iowa Testing - $25 per student K5-12th Grade
      • Most are familiar with S.T.A.R. testing, but the Iowa testing is geared toward our educational goals.
      • Iowa testing is an informational test that allows NSBA to assess a student's progress. This test does not determine a student's promotional status.
    • Sports Fee
      • Sports fees are applied for each sport a student participates in.
      • NSBA currently offers:
        • Boys' Sports
          • Flag Football 5th - 12th grades
          • Soccer 3rd - 12th grades
          • Basketball 3rd - 12th grades
        • Girls' Sports
          • Soccer 3rd - 12th grades
          • Basketball 3rd - 12th grades
          • Volleyball 3rd - 12th grades
          • Cheerleading 3rd - 12th grades (Additional Fees may apply)
      • Sports fees will cover the students jersey and shorts. Students may only wear school provided jersey and shorts for practices and games.
      • $50 fee for 1st sport, $40 per sport after

 Late Fees:

    •  Tuition payments are considered late by the close of business (5 p.m.) on the 10th of each month.
    • A $25 late fee will be added to any monthly tuition that is not paid by the close of business (5 p.m.) on the 10th of each month. An additional $10 fee will be added after every five days that the tuition remains unpaid.
    • A student's balance must be paid for final grades to be issued. If a student is dismissed or removed from NSBA during the school year all invoices must be paid in full to receive transcripts and final grades collected by NSBA.
    • Students removed or dismissed from school during the school year other than for military orders are required to pay the next month's tuition payment.

 Daily Meal Plans:

    • Lunch menus are provided on the MySchoolWorx system. Families may order lunches weeks in advance as they deem necessary

    • Invoices are sent out a week behind and are due by the 1st of the next month.

    • Students 4th grade and below will not have access to microwaves. Students in these grades will need to either purchase hot lunch or bring a lunch that does not require heating. Students in the 5th – 12th grades may utilize the microwaves at their own risk.

    • Students who do not bring a lunch and do not order a lunch will be served a hot lunch and will be charged $6.00. Depending on the availability of food, this may be a lunch different than what is being served that day.

      • Meal Plan Costs
        • Lunch $3.00
        • Snack $1.00

 Start of the School Day:

    •  NSBA doors will open at 7:30 a.m. on school days.
    • The school day begins at 8:00 a.m.
    • Students are considered tardy at 8:00 a.m.
    • NSBA begins with pledges, Bible memory verses, singing, school announcements, and prayer.

After Care:

    • After care begins at 3:30 p.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m. Students must be picked up by 5:30 p.m.
      • Aftercare billing options:
        • Monthly Pre-bill
          • $100 per month per student. No limit on hours within the time frame.
          • Must sign up at the beginning of the year or before the start of the month.
        • Monthly Allotments
          • $50 for 1 to 10 hours of care per month per student
          • $10 per hour for hours 11+ per month per student
        • Anyone left in aftercare beyond 5:30pm will be charged $1.00 per minute
        • Aftercare is charged in hourly increments.

    • Students 4th grade and above in the aftercare program will be directed to work on homework before play.
    • Students participating in sports will receive a 5-minute grace period from the end of the designated end time for the sport they are participating in before they will be charged/entered into aftercare.
